Paris 2019 (Part 1)

We took the RER train from CDG to Les Halles. It seemed like an extra long haul because our flight from Seattle departed in the evening. Plus, I watched several excellent films instead of napping. Horace has a snazzy new backpacking pack, but it was hard for him to navigate all the bells and whistles. It looks good on him though. One of his first sights in Paris was the Lego store at the mall, which doesn't sell anything different from the Lego store in Bellevue.

Drizzly and chilly on our first day. Seattle kids though.

The Eiffel Tower was wonderfully tourist-free. Jane raced up ahead of us ofcourse.

At that point, we hadn't yet stepped in dog poop.

We warmed up at Les Invalides for some Big "N" time.

Fun guy, obviously!

Baby.

Horace was super pleased to be on his first passenger train ever (not including light rails and commuter trains). Yes, it's true! He's never ridden on Amtrak. Next time we'll have to figure out a TGV route.
