Switzerland 2024 (Part 3)

On our way to the more temperate climes of Lugano.

The moon was showing off. But oh no we didn't dilly dally along the lakeshore. Off to Milan.

We spent some time with The Last Supper at Santa Maria delle Grazie. We had already done so much on this trip, Da Vinci got a big meh from the kids. D'oh!

Milan is aggressively neo-classical. We appreciated the lack of tourists. The Milanese are at work.

After our quick sojourn in Italy, we raced back to Zürich to catch our outgoing flight. The National Museum was fantastic. I'm still struggling to grasp the Weltanschauung of the Swiss, if any. Something to do with dairy products though.

  1. beautiful pics in Switzerland! love Basel, Heidi-land also has great hiking in the summer. the part of the country I know best is the francophone wine-growing area around Lac Leman -- maybe that's for next year!

    1. We completely bypassed the French speaking region, zut alors. It would have been nice to see CERN.
