Coho salmon is the best. It's really much richer and maybe less expensive than sockeye. We saw some really big ones at the Issaquah hatchery on Horace's field trip. These Coho are already dying as they've just spawned. You can tell by their peeling scales (see the white, zombie-looking part of their noses).
Jane participated in a soccer clinic taught by members of the UW women's soccer team. Beautiful night.
The Northwest Girlchoir is crazy organized. We went to a welcome potluck, and all the girls in Jane's group got up on stage and followed the artistic director like pros, after only a few weeks of rehearsal. A self-selected group, yes, but so amazingly drama free. GIRLS.
