White Pre-Christmas

Back to Canada! It's still on sale. The Hampton Inn at Chilliwack boasts a fast, red water slide. There's no reason to shell out for Great Wolf Lodge. And let's not forget the breakfast buffet. A delightful stop on our way to Sun Peaks.

Jane ended her first day of skiing on the trail pictured above. A long, legitimate blue. Not a Jackson Hole blue or even a Crystal Mountain blue, but surely a Vail blue. One fellow skier remarked, "She's fearless." Fine, but she's very impatient and hard to keep up with.

The next day was much warmer. Jenna (looking chic) joined us on a hushed, quiet morning on Mt. Morissey.

The view once you take the Crystal chair up is something else. Alien. Dr. Seussian.

We headed to the south facing side of Mt. Tod in the afternoon. Gah, Sun Peaks is fantastic. Tons of light blues and dry, dusty powder.

Cora is learning to snowboard.

If you should ever find yourself on the Trans-Canadian in BC, Brodeur's is an essential stop. Louisiana + Montreal in dreary Abbotsford.
