Horace always asks for quality time with halmoni!

Haidilao is the first stop on our tour of the Seattle hot pot scene. Very splish-splashy. 4 out of 5 stars. We would have preferred individual hot pots. Great mala broth. Robot waiters. What's next???

Jane is ice cold when it comes to performing on stage. It must be because she's so "whatever" about it (don't get me started about trying to fix her very awkward bow hold). Jane appreciates the cello mainly because girls at recitals don't usually wear dresses. Here's a snippet Horace recorded of the Marcello Allegro. The wonderful pianist who usually accompanies the kids had COVID so her teacher played the piano part.

It's way too cold for the City Tournament. Generations of frozen-toed Seattle families can't believe that it isn't held in the spring.
