Juneuary

Jane and I headed back to Camp Sealth last week, this time with the first graders. Boy, did she have fun. I had a good time too, though I feel like I'm still recovering from all the excitement.

Our cabin friends (including dear Nava) had some trouble getting to bed. So I took a breather on the cabin stoop around 9:45 pm. The solstice approaches, and it still feels so weird.

Spring soccer is winding down just as we get ready to perhaps view the World Cup. Our cable package is merely schematic.

Horace in Italy! We've been watching a lot of Rick Steves. Horace asked me what to do with a blank piece of paper. I said he should draw Florence's skyline, you know, whatever, I'm busy reading about a woman that was eaten by an alligator. He came up with this, working from memory. Oh, our little big guy and Brunelleschi and naked David statues and pasta.
