Roslyn

We crashed a Memorial Day cookout on Sunday via my favorite Garfield High School grad, Nava's mom Ariella. I enjoy the challenge of hanging out with old Seattle families. There are lots of cousins to keep track of, several nicknames for Catholic schools to decipher and the disorienting absence of software engineers. We had a blast.

But we first had to do our Sunday puzzle. Jane spells incorrectly heedlessly. So a team effort.

Before chowing down at the cookout, we played field games in the town of Roslyn which is on the National Register of Historical Places, and more importantly where Northern Exposure was filmed. Jane and Nava were crazy fast at the three-legged race.

Horace loved, loved, LOVED watching the egg toss.  Hugh line-drived an egg into my outstretched hands, but we didn't otherwise embarrass ourselves.
