We're back in Seattle. It kind of smells like bacon, and not in a good way. Are firefighters the best? They're up there.

Speaking of up there, we were in Ocean City, MD last week. Jane seems more than a smidge too small for this type of ride.

Tons of beach time at Assateague National Seashore. Wonderful! We had missed the warmth of the Atlantic and the softness of trucked-in sand.

Halabogi brought out our 25-year old boogie board for the kids. Horace got on there too.

There's a panda looming in the above photo. We visited the National Zoo during a thunderstorm. Empty. Horace took many photos in Amazonia.
