The Thornton Creek yearbook is full of cuteness and sweetness.
Room 3 had a great year. Here's about half the class at Matthews Beach. And a rare non-school sighting of Debbie and Kathleen. An era ends. I'm sad. Jane is wearing the new tie-dye shirt she made at an auction event hosted by Elly's mom. The Thornton Creek auction won't be happening next year for equity reasons. I mostly approve of that decision.
It was a legit scorcher. Jane and her classmates couldn't wait to wade into the somewhat murky waters of Lake Washington.
Horace held court on the merry-go-round. Somehow he gets everyone to push him around.
Here's Alden Mason in what has been staged as a guest bedroom.
David is our agent. What's crazy is that he lived two doors down for a number of years.
CRAZY.
Anyway, the kids still love Carkeek. It's Carkeek and Matthews Beach that top our lists. Every year it gets harder to find parking though. Seattle! Bezos!
Happy Father's Dayssssssssssss! This is the new Pike Place Market expansion. Once the viaduct is removed (sometime after I'm dead), what a waterfront there will be.
