The Seattle Japanese Garden Maple Viewing Festival was wildly crowded at lunchtime when we left. But being irritatingly prompt has its pluses. We got there so early we had the place to ourselves for a while. Jane and Cora played maple bingo (i.e., find the "lion's mane" maple, find the one with green and white stripes, etc.) I love Jane's matchy coat-boot situation against the fall colors.
Horace earns his keep. Or at least his Minecraft time.
