The Port of Everett offers a free ferry to Jetty Island, a completely uninhabited 3-mile stretch of sand in the Sound. The Maldives this was not. Think instead of giant dead jellyfish and squishy sand dotted with ghost shrimp burrows. And a ten-minute sprint to the port-a-potty on the ferry dock. But I felt breezy-pleezy.
