Saturday was glorious. We took the Mukilteo ferry to Whidbey Island.
We then drove north to Fort Casey State Park, which features historic gun batteries used (or, I suppose, not actually used) to guard the entrance to Puget Sound.
We lounged under a deciduous tree.
