Grandma visited during the rainiest stretch in Seattle since forever. We took the Bainbridge Island ferry yet again (this time to get to Lake Sutherland).
We walked along the Dungeness Spit and tried taking one those cute "in the hole" photos, but our sense of proportion was off.
Where are we now?
Pink Gorilla! Located in a dingy Japanese mall but run by Caucasian geeks, Pink Gorilla boasts a large collection of vintage video game consoles and controllers. Hugh's enthusiasm for Pink Gorilla was matched by his enthusiasm for
Scott Pilgrim v. the World. I was less enthused. Knives Chau is a backwards step for Asian chicks in cinema.
And then the rain stopped. We headed out to the Skagit Valley and Padilla Bay. A DWT partner hosted a party at his cabin and served huckleberry pie.
