We picked up a suit for Hugh from the Nordstrom flagship downtown. This suit features plain-front pants and is brown. What the what! It was heavily discounted. Horace is too short for suiting, but not for long, friends, not for long.
The Nordstrom flagship is much more chic than the Nordstrom I grew up with at The Fashion Centre at Pentagon City. For example, at the flagship, there is an A.P.C. rack in the Men's Sportswear section, which reminds me that there are neither French men of Hugh's height nor French babies of Horace's girth. Horace is one week away from straining the seams of the 6 month Petit Bateau onesies we've borrowed. Zut.
Horace doesn't look terribly impressed by his second venture to a Nordie's. Glad he's easy to take out & about...for now anyway.
